30+ Online Brands to Check Out for Holiday Gifts (Actually Good!)

Keep reading and I promise I will help you find gifts for everyone on your nice list 😉

I’ll keep this short, because I know all you want is to read the dang list. Ok but let me just introduce. I wrote this blog post because I was tired of being at a loss for where to start each time I needed a gift for someone. Of course, all of the pressure compiles around the holidays, but most (if not all) of these online stores would work quite well for any holiday. Keep this bookmarked for weddings, birthdays, and more.

I chose these brands because of their quality, variety of gift options, reasonable price points, and novelty of their designs.

OH and one more note. As a new blogger, I have absolutely no sponsors. This post has no affiliate links. Therefore you can scroll with confidence knowing I’m sharing my own opinions purely as a friend would. This took me a LOT of time out of the goodness of my heart. (lol)

If you want to give me a little thank you, the best thing you can do for a small blogger like me is read some of my other posts or consider following my Instagram @themonthlymigrant 🙂 Thanks so much for being here!

30+ Online Brands Worth Checking Out for Gift Shopping

  1. Eco Chic has the cutest Scotland-inspired gifts.

Eco Chic – I personally have an adorable backpack from this company which has held up super well over the years. I got it on a trip to Scotland, and I believe they are based out of Scotland (peep the adorable Highland cattle patterns). It’s an adorable, waterproof backpack made from recycled bottles. Yes it zips up in itself. Yes it’s excellent quality. And YES it is super reasonably priced.

  2. Adorable 3-piece confetti baking set by Pattern.

Pattern – At first glance appearing more like a blog than a store, take the time to dig a little deeper on this site and discover their simple, cute, and chic products for the home and kitchen. All priced reasonably.

  3. One of the many cool gifts available at Parks Project.

Parks Project – The perfect starting point for the loved one who loves nature and America, this online shop has the cutest and most unique products that we could all appreciate even if we only dream of traveling to every National Park. From puzzles, to candles, to sweatshirts, and more. Their designs are modern, yet classic, and just to die for.

  4. Chef’n’s amazing citrus juicer! One of my favorite kitchen items I own.

Chef’n – A tried and true brand based out of Seattle, WA, this store has all the innovative products you could want for your kitchen. I can personally recommend their lemon squeezer. Did a ton of research, and they came out on top. And yes – it’s that good. They have fun and smart products like a hand cranked taffy puller, a hand powered food processor, and even an ice cream sandwich maker. Let’s face it. They have everything you didn’t ever know you needed. I love innovation, and this place has it – with impeccable designs and quality to boot. Check them out.

    • Website: chefn.com
    • Price point: $$$$
  5. Bright, happy, and inspirational, Ban.do offers the cutest gifts for your loved ones.

Ban.do – Now – a disclaimer. This brand has had some controversy in its past  – particularly around its founder Jen Gotch. I believe she has resigned and it seems the company wants to turn a new leaf that is more inclusive. You can find their commitments to diversity, equity, and inclusion here. Consider this when shopping, but I will say they have some cute products. Currently, as of December 2021, their website is very easy to browse and VERY geared towards holiday gift-giving. You’ll have an easy time browsing based on your price point or even your giftee’s personality type.

  6. Bold Faced Goods offers unique handkerchiefs, Swedish dishcloths, and more.

Bold Faced Goods – Funny, dirty, and clean, this company specializes in kitchen/cleaning products that have an air of humor about them. As they call them, “silly household items.” These make a great gag gift for a friend or family member. They even have embroidered wedding handkerchiefs that make a great funny gift for someone in a wedding party.

  7. Can’t get enough cats? Find this awesome infographic and so many more at Popchart.

Popchart – This will probably be unlike any online store you’ve ever seen. They focus on creating satisfyingly detailed infographics that are printed on their products. For any type of person or interest – nature, sports, hip-hop, pop culture, geography, you name it.

    • Website: popchart.co
    • Instagram: instagram.com/popchart.co
    • Price point: $$$$
    • Disclaimer: I did create a referral code for this company if you’re interested. You can get 20% off your first order of $30+ and I’ll get a little something in exchange for the referral, at no extra cost to you. Here is my referral link if you want to claim this discount: rwrd.io/o8ludqv
  8. Poketo’s fun-loving designs bursting with color.

Poketo – Shopping for someone who loves a pop of color? This store is your best bet. High design with a reasonable price point, Poketo offers housewares, apparel, stationery and accessories that you’ve probably never seen before.

  9. Xouxou’s high end designs elevate your phone and keep it safely attached to you.

Xouxou – As someone who’s always been behind lanyards for my expensive tech,  I’d be lying if I said I didn’t want one of these phone necklaces so bad…but unfortunately I still have an iPhone 6s! As soon as I upgrade my phone I’m going to be splurging on one of these bad boys. The hardest part will be knowing which of the satisfyingly beautiful color combinations to pick…

  10. Converse is exploring new styles and eco-friendly materials.

Converse – Now, before you keep scrolling because you know what an All Star Chuck Taylor looks like, just wait…wait. Converse has really stepped up their designs in recent years and I think there’s something on their store that everyone would like as a gift. The best part? You get a brand name without breaking the bank. Even their newest and hottest designs are typically under $120.

    1. Website: converse.com

    3. Price point: $$$$
  11. Sorel is recently pushing the fashion boundaries beyond classic boots (which they also still do well.)

Sorel – The once winter boot brand is now stepping their design game up big time. I urge you to browse through their website and be shocked at how modern and trendy their styles are now. Never thought Sorel would be a leader in shoe fashions? Think again!

  12. Brooklinen offers sheets and more – like this silk set made of 100% mulberry silk.

Brooklinen – I can’t personally vouch for this company, but as an internet company that’s taken the advertising world by storm (if you listen to just about any podcast, you’ve heard their ads), it might be a thoughtful gift that someone might want to try out and see if it meets the hype. They have several silk products (i.e. silk pillowcase) that have caught my eye before – and are competitively priced.

  13. Pricey but a brand standard for silk pillowcases, Slip makes a luxurious gift.

Slip – Known for their silk pillowcases, Slip’s come at a higher price point than Brooklinen’s; $89 rather than $59. Still, it’s a brand name that anyone in your life would feel is a luxurious gift.

  14. Moleskine offers limited edition collections like this Frida Kahlo inspired notebook collection.

Moleskine – You might think you know Moleskine – the pastel colored notebooks that are quite expensive. But did you know they have limited edition notebooks and planners each year? I personally have loved using the Le Petit Prince Collection daily planners for the past 2 years and I plan on purchasing a new one each year as long as I can. They have other collections, like Peanuts, Sailor Moon, and more. Check them out!

  15. Bala Bangles offers chic workout accessories and wearable weights.

Bala Bangles – A cute and luxurious gift for anyone who’s looking to tone up or lose weight. The concept is simple – weights that go around your wrists or ankles, but look like…fashionable. Makes a great gift for men or women.

  16. Truly one of a kind bags. Why? Rareform sources their shell material from used billboards!

RAREFORM – OK one I can speak to from experience! I recently bought from this brand for my boyfriend’s birthday. What does Rareform do? They make bags and products out of retired BILLBOARDS! So cool, right? That means every single product you buy from them is one of a kind, and helping reduce millions of pounds of plastic waste. This idea is genius – and they do an amazing job of photographing every.single.product. That blew my mind. So no fear – you’ll get to pick your one of a kind product that’s purely YOU. The quality ended up being exactly as I’d hoped. The price was right too! Check them out!

  17. Chronicle Books offers modern books for any mood.

Chronicle Books – It’s like walking into the cute, fresh, and fun bookstore you wish your neighborhood had. Coffee table books, activity books, games, stationery – they have all of the fun stuff and none of the boring stuff.

  18. Find a gift for anyone with The Container Store’s curated gift sets.

Container Store – The superstore for everything you didn’t know you needed in your life. Home organization is for everyone – and beyond that, they have many new products that are focused on design for better and easier use. Around the holidays they always have a great variety of super fun stocking stuffers!

  19. Known for their fun floral patterns, Rifle Paper Co. offers more than just paper goods.

Rifle Paper Co. – They make all things modern and cute. As the name suggests, they do make a lot of paper products – cards, calendars, notebooks – but they also make a ton of other stuff! All I can say is check them out and you’ll be sure to find a gift that speaks to you.

  20. Joseph Joseph’s satisfyingly smart designs for the home.

Joseph Joseph – The perfect line of products to stock your kitchen. Let’s just say a lot of these well-designed sets will be in my wedding registry. I mean, hello stacking tupperware (finally!) The design is A+ and the prices are very fair.

  21. Kikkerland offers fun, stylish, and humorous gifts.

Kikkerland – Ah how I love this quirky store. I just love good design. And when good design intersects with fun and quirk, it’s just perfect to me. I always make sure to check this website for fun gifts with personality.

  22. Similar to Kikkerland, Fred makes quirky and fun knick knacks that are actually useful.

Genuine Fred – Very similar to Kikkerland, this company aims to put a smile on your face without breaking the bank. Products you can use on the daily, like their famous sloth tea steeper, that add a little joy to the little things in life!

  23. Tervis rolls out new themed designs all the time. Here is one of the new Grinch collection.

Tervis – I love Tervis cups. They’re good quality, they hold up, and they’re a good design. Perfect for families with kids (or clumsy adults), they don’t leave sweat rings on furniture, they don’t break when dropped, and they can be microwaved for hot drinks easily. Why do they make a good gift? Because they have personality! They are constantly coming out with new designs that appeal to any type of person – see the Star Wars, Disney, Nick 90s, Marvel, Bob’s Burgers, and Harry Potter collections. Oh. And so much more.

  24. Stylish coffee/tea/beverage products with a twist of high design, Bodum makes a great gift option.

  27. Out of Print offers nostalgic gifts for the bookworms in your life.

Out of Print – This is where you need to shop for your friend who likes to read! I discovered this brand in a t-shirt store in Asheville. *sigh* the memories. I was absolutely obsessed with their shirts designed after childhood favorites like The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Goodnight Moon (my personal favorite), and Madeline. They have many more on their website that will trigger your sentimentality.

  28. Corkcicle brings an air of sophistication and fun to the stainless drinkware world.

Corkcicle – I love stainless steel double-walled water bottles. Insulated is my world. Thus I rushed to share the love with my mom when Corkcicle released their special collection in partnership with Rifle Paper Co. The quality of the bottle is amazing and has pretty great design. Thoughtful bevels, thick enamel, low profile caps, and soft touch rubber bases.

  29. Hydroflask offers durable stainless drinkware and thermos for the avid outdoorspeople in your life.

Hydroflask – An alternative to companies like S’well, Corkcicle, and Yeti, Hydroflask is the new kid on the block that’s been picking up a lot of steam among young people and avid hikers. I absolutely love my Hydroflask and couldn’t recommend the brand more. For an extra fun touch, give the gift of a customized MyHydro bottle! Read my honest and unfiltered review here.

  30. Prezzybox aims to take the frustration out of gifting to someone who might not be with you this Holiday season.

Prezzybox – When it comes to gifting, it’s Prezzybox’s whole life. Take a moment to browse their gift guides for any type of loved one. They have cute funny gifts, personalized gifts, and more.

  31. The team at ShirtManDude. Everything on their website is hand-printed in their shop!

ShirtManDude – We found this shop while in Asheville too! They sell great quality tees in a variety of hilarious designs that are tasteful at the same time.
