It’s not your Grandmother’s yard sale anymore.

My Success Story

One of my listings. I bought this couch for $315 new and sold it for $280! Costing me only $35 for 3 years of use.

Getting the Process Started.

Leave Your Prized Possessions with Family if You Can.

Or Consider Storage.

List on Facebook Marketplace, but List HIGH and List Early.

List on Other Free Marketplace Sites or Apps.

Craigslist is Dead.

For Clothing, Try to Sell To Consignment BEFORE Donating.

For NICE Clothing, Try Poshmark

But Wait! Don’t Donate Just Yet…

Posting detailed photos of your bags of clothing help make the selling process go smoother. The clearer the images the fewer specific questions you have to answer.

When in Doubt and Desperation, Consider Giving Items you Love to Your Friends.

Good luck!

Day Job Quitter + Long-Term Traveler

I quit my job as a designer to travel and do a bit of what I call “Life College.” This college is free, self guided, and is an investment in your future.

What job do you really want to do? How feasible is it to get that job and how can you get started? What do you want out of your ideal lifestyle? What are you really working towards?

I’m taking a break to tackle all of these life planning challenges and (hopefully) come out the other side with a clearer vision and stronger spirit.

Tammi ☺
